Recognizing that flexibility, strength, and balance are imperative to us as martial artists and human beings, the Dojo is thrilled to host a twice-weekly Yoga class! Mrs. Allison and Miss Kenzie are both 200 RYT Certified Yoga Instructors, though they each have their own unique style of teaching.

Mrs. Allison leads Vinyasa yoga classes with a little bit of Yin yoga sprinkled in every other Monday. Expect a slower pace that focuses on holding poses and building strength and endurance.

Miss Kenzie leads a faster-paced Vinyasa class that focuses on movement and flow on alternating Mondays, sprinkling in her knowledge of Pilates to help build agility and strength in movement.

Her Wednesday class is a VinYin class, focusing on flow and restorative yoga to bring strength and energy into your body!

Currently, Mrs. Allison and Miss Kenzie teach on alternating Mondays at 7PM, and Kenzie teaches an additional class on Wednesdays at 7PM. Each class is $15 per person, or $60 per month.

While they each have their own style of teaching, at each class you will gain:

  • Full Body Mindfulness

  • Relaxation

  • Balance

    Our instructors are more than happy to accept students from all experience levels and are ready to assist anyone who struggles with a pose or flow. Our goal is to help you refrain from injury and leave class feeling relaxed!

The use of yoga props is encouraged, (but not required), to support you during certain poses in order to enable growth in your practice while assisting with safety and comfort. We do have all the supplies needed so the only thing we truly need from you…is you!

Which props are recommended to bring?

A yoga mat, 1-2 blocks, a yoga strap, and a bolster (for VinYin classes)

What clothes are recommended for you to wear?

Clothing you can move and stretch in

A pair of clean feet or grippy socks
